Stress can strike us anywhere; it can strike us at home, it can strike us at school and it can strike us at work. When stress strikes it doesnt matter what we are doing because when it hits us it will hit us at through our blindside. Stress is for instance a thief in the night, it lurks in the darkness, barely noticeable so by the time it strikes it is already too late. The results of too much stress can be risky but that doesnt mean you shouldnt do anything. The best way to handle with stress itself is through stress reduction. Stress reduction is one of the most effective ways to deal with stress.Stress reduction may require you to do something like rejecting an over time, declining an additional workload. For students it can be about taking some time off from extracurricular activities, or simply taking some time off from work. For housewives it can be about having a weekend off with her girlfriends. The importance of stress reduction is to reduce or lessen the amount of stress you are experiencing giving you enough time to relax and unwind.

Allowing stress to go out of hand can have some negative results. It may not be evident immediately but it might manifest itself once you get older.
